SOURCE: fuel pump?

the fuel pump for your 2000 fuel injected road king is located in the fuel tank. you will have to remove the speedometer housing, by first removing the seat, then remove the one small screw near the seat that holds the speedometer housing in place, also remove the small screw at the front of the speedometer housing and lift the housing off the tank and disconnect the wiring that goes to the back of the speedometer. there is a large oval shaped gold in appearance plate on top of the fuel tank. this plate is what the fuel pump is mounted to.

SOURCE: where is the oil dipstick on an 03 road king

The oil dipstick is located on the right side of bike almost directly under the football cover for the air cleaner. It's a round knob that pulls directly out (Kind of wiggle as you pull on it). Just check like a regular car dipstick pull, wipe and reinsert and then look at dipstick.

SOURCE: Idel adjustment on fuel injected road king.\not on

Thats not totally correct. remove your air filter cover. look to the lower right side. You will see a small hole thats where the screw driver goes in to adjust your idle. Ya the dealer has a scanlizer that can also do it if u want to spend the bucks.

SOURCE: My 2000 road king fuel injection starts right up

this could be a couple of different things first thing is to make sure your fuel pump pressures up the system, turn on ignition and listen for your fuel pump to come on,second is to your ignition on and off at least two or three more times this will reset your idle air contol.(make sure you are not on the throttle when you shut the bike off) If this does not clear up the problem you could have a bad senser or loose connection. good luck

2000 Harley-Davidson FLHR/FLHRI Road King. It ran great no problem but leaking fuel line. I replaced with new fuel line but now won't start?

Question edited for a lot more clarity, plus typos.
Question moved from 'Gas Motorcycles' to model category.

You need to track the buzzing, but these come in either carburetor or Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI) My guess is that yours is fuel injected and the buzzing is the fuel pump relay.

What is the part that the air filter hook to on a 2000 road king. ours has broken

The air filter is comprised of three parts. The outer part is the air filter cover, then comes the filter itself, and finally, the air filter backing plate. The backing plate connects directly to either the carburetor or the fuel injector throttle body. I hope this helps.

Good Luck

Recently purchased a 2000 road king. It is fuel injected. it keeps flooding the plugs out. could the fuel injectors be sticking? I have pretty hot plugs in it and a new battery. I repaired a wire going to...

Yes your injectors could be sticking. The last owner may have had the PCM in the computer reprogrammed for more power (IE more fuel) and failed to do any of the other associate modifications (pipes, air filter). This will cause it to run rich, but I doubt it would flood it out. You can take the injectors out and put them in an ultrasonic bath for 30 minutes or so and this will clean them out really good. A jeweler will do this for you sometimes. Or you can purchase your own ultrasonic cleaner for around $60.00. I would start there. If your fuel system has a schrader valve somewhere on it you can attach a fuel pressure guage to it. Start the bike and then turn it off, the fuel systenm should maintain pressure, if the pressure goes down rapidly you have an injector that is sticking open.
