Female needing some help!!!! Wont turn on!!!!!

Female needing some help!!!! I had an accident on my 675 recently. When i picked her up she was still runing (found out later the fall detector had broken off). When i got her back home the clocks would switch on and fuel pump would prime but she wouldnt start. No probs i thought, something must have been damaged. So now i have her more or less back together but then electrics wouldnt even come on. Battery and fuses are ok.
But last night while fiddling about trying to get the steering lock on (wouldnt, got to look into that to)it suddenly came alive, the fuel pump even primed, (altho not staright away). Happy, happy, happy!!! Short lived tho...the engine light came on, and then it died again. Couldnt get any life back.
Have heard that when you use the kill switch it can damage the regulator rectifier, does this sound like it could be that? Or does it sound more like somethings wrong with the ignition?
Any information and help you can give would be grateully recieved. Thanks,

"Female needing some help!!!! Wont turn on!!!!!"

I've had this problem with females before. Although persistence sometimes works, it's usually a medical problem. Check whether the female is on antidepressants as these medications can sometimes have this unwanted side-effect.

If you dropped the bike on the left side, it is possible that the stater was pushed into the rotor and it shorted out. I had the same thing happen to my bike. First thing to check is the battery. Make sure it has 12 volts. If it does not, put it on a trickle charger for a day or so and try again. If it starts up, runs for a while (like a day or two) then dies again, check the battery voltage. If the battery is dead, the stater is not charging it. If the stater needs to be replaced, I would recommend replacing the volt regulator/rectifier as well. I found the parts for my Daytona 600 at regulatorrectifier.com for about 800 dollars less that what Triumph wanted me to pay.

It seems the wiring around the ignition switch could be the problem, its worth checking the connections over there!

The car which carried the transit transporter has been written off in an accident - is it possible to get another female attachment bracket for another car?

the 'female' attachment bracket seems to be either a 1.5" or 2" standard receiver hitch. which you can have installed at most auto or trailer rental shops, such as UHaul... note that you will need the adapter that came with your bike rack to use the 2" receiver hitch

After accident chysler 300 any way to determine how fast car was traveling

the 300 could have been doing 55 -a t-bone to the rear axle will rip it apart and a p/u rears try to slid sideways on dry pavement don tak much to make it slide or spin sideways-and a 300 nose is all plastic and their computers are in engine bay cost more to repair so total is insurance choice of action-to determine if the speed is a factor u will need a lawer who deal with accidents one is that they usually have a person or a retired police office who are trained in accident reconstuction and they can request data from black box in other vehicle-but if ur the causing factor [improper turn -improper lane chnge-failed to yield right of way etc...]most lawyers wont take case

I purchased an atari 2600 junior on ebay recently. It turns on fine, the cartridges have been cleaned (by myself). I have a female rca to male coax adapter to attack the rca cable to. I then attach that to...

Try switching to a different channel. The Atari 2600 supports channels 2 and 3, you want to pick the one that is not broadcasting in your area. If your TV has "auto-tuning" you may need to manually add channel 2 or 3 (whichever you pick) to see it on the TV.

My 2009 triumph daytona 675 had some melting from the voltage regulator!!! nasty tar like residue all down the bike, so took fairing of and bought a used voltage regulator, turn ignition on and all lights...

Hi,
Its possible the ignition module has failed caused from the over voltage supply when the voltage regulator overheated.
Have the ignition checked for spark, if this is ok then it has to be a fuel delivery problem which unfortunately could be the ECU.
Hope this helps.
Thanks

Fuel pump is located inside your fuel tank.Sometimes if you have involved in an accident there is automatic shut off switch that will kill the fuel pump operations and prevent fire durring accident.Chek your manual for fuel pump shut off switch. Sometimes is located in the Trunk or in front of vehicle on driver side under dash on left side panel.
