The sump plug will be on the bottom of the engine but theseold Honda copy (GY) engines don't use an oil filter they have a wire mesh gauze screen that sits on top of the sump plug bolt so make sure this comes out with the sump plug and is free from any dirt/debris. so drain oil clean the gauze screen then refit and refill your oil. check your oil level if its low or black and burnt this could be your over heating problem but I would also check to make sure the auto choke isn't sticking on. Best of luck hope this is of some help

SOURCE: I have KYMCO S 200 and need to know what needs

At 300 miles the only thing you might want to do is check the gearbox oil level and then lube and adjust the chain. Check with the dealer on the filter type. As to what type of oil, use 10w40 motor oil in the gear box. Don't use any synthetic oils, oil marked "EC", or oil with "special" additives. Stick with the major brands; Pennzoil, Quaker State, Mobil or Shell. If in a hot area like Texas or New Mexico go with 20w50.

SOURCE: Hi there What type of oil

For your bike you should use 15w 40 oil. Buy some better known mark oil.

SOURCE: How may more miles can

No problem, you will be fine to drive it until you can get to the shop as long as the engine seems to be running OK and it is not overheating or the "oil" light is not on. Something as simple as a loose gas cap can turn on the maintenance light, chances are though, on this car it was common for a failing VVT-i cam sprocket to get stuck and cause misfire codes. The fix involves replacing the cam sprocket, something Toyota used to cover under warranty, but not likely anymore.

How often do i change the oil on a mercury mountaineer 2005?

It depends on how many miles you drive annually, the environment your vehicle is driven in (dusty, hot, cold, humid, dry, etc), the type of oil you use (conventional, synthetic blend, or full synthetic), and the condition of your car's engine. You should consult your owner's manual and the data on your engine oil.

I drive a 1999 Mercury Mountaineer 5,0L and drive it about 1,500 miles annually. I use a synthetic blend oil and change my oil and oil filter twice a year. I change the oil in the spring so I have fresh oil for the hot summer driving season and I change my truck's oil in the fall after the hot summer driving season. Because my Mountaineer has a lot of miles on it, I use thinner oil in the winter 5/20 and thicker oil in the summer 10/20. I check my oil regularly and look at the color and feel the oil for grit. This has worked for me for many years and I have had good performance from my vehicles.

You can go on the different oil manufacture's websites and read their recommendations as well. There has been much debate about when to change the oil in a vehicle so you have to decide for yourself what schedule you want to follow.

How often do it need an tune up,oil change engine coolant and brakes changed?wen to check the oil

this depends on how you drive and how many miles you have on your car and what type oil you are using, on a 1994 you should do a tune up every 30 to 40 thousand miles. You need to do a engine clean then change oil. if you use a good quality oil you can go every 3 to 5 thousand miles on changing oil. You need to change the oil in the drive train after 30 thousand miles and the transmission oil and filter should be changed every 30 thousand miles. Also the Thermostat and antifreeze should be changed every two years to make sure the anti freeze is still lubricating the water pump. Failure to change antifreeze has burt up more engines than I can recall. Check oil in the morning when cold. Check the transmission oil when hot and in park. If you want more detailed information post here.
