SOURCE: I bought a 2004 yamaha

From what I recall, they are accessed by removing the seat.

Take off the Pillion seat to reveal the nut for the driver's seat. Remove this and then you should have exposed the coils (amongst other things).

SOURCE: went to start my 2006 Yamaha ROyal Star Tour Deluxe, had no power to ignition or electrical system

sounds like possible bad battery or batttery connections. If battery is more than 4-5 years old thatis a good place to start as it should be replaced anyway.

After washing my yamaha v-star 1100A. the bike won't start. Checked spark plugs and ignition coil, but no current going to these parts. What are the next steps?

You might have gotten the coil and plug wires too wet.

Either give it a day or two to dry out, or spray them with a thin coating of WD-40, wipe dry, and try starting.
