Question about Suzuki Motorcycles

Open Question

In the headlight shell of an'83 Suzuki gs1100e there are 4 or 5 connectors. what connections are made between each side of the 9 pin connector. I have 18 dangling wires. electricity is a mystery to me

SOURCE: Lose wire with 6Wires connector... need diagrams of pin out

(There are different versions of the ba-200, so I'm assuming they al use the same wiring/pinout...) if you look at the amp on the enclosure(right-side up... so the writin goes left->right): The top left pin is #1, beside it is #2, then #3. The bottom left pin is #4, beside it is #5, then #6. #1 Right speaker positive input #2 Empty #3 12 Volt Constant Power #4 Left speaker positive input #5 Remote turn on / Acc power input #6 Ground Now there's supposed to be a 15-amp fuse on pin #3 (12v constan power).

I figured it out:

Here goes: There are 4 wires inside the Aqua Vu cable that runs to the underwater part of the cam.

Red = Hot or 12 volt power from battery postive (red) terminal

Black = Ground - ground to battery negative terminal

White= Video input (or center of video coax)

Green= Infrared lighting control, if you ground the green wire against the black/ground, you will see

that it switches ON the infrared or "Christmas" lights. Simply put a switch on the green wire after you ground it, so you can switch your IR's on and off.

SOURCE: need wiring and 9pin connector diagram

Dell (Altec Lansing) A425 Subwoofer Pinouts

This is a standard female DB-9 serial port.
Here are the pinouts.

Pin 1 = Left Speaker Out +

Pin 2 = Left Speaker Out - (Common Ground)

Pin 3 = Left Line In +

Pin 4 = Right Line In +

Pin 5 = Left/Right line In - (Common Ground)

Pin 6 = Right Speaker Out +

Pin 7 = Right Speaker Out - (Common Ground)

Pin 8 = Power A

Pin 9 = Power B

Jumper (short) Power A to B to turn on.
If you want a volume control you need to put one on the inputs. You will buy buy a stereo volume control or potentiometer.

Suzuki GSXR 1100 low beam does not work
Hi, Johnny if your headlight is not working, intermittent, only one beam works, keeps burning out, blinking, dim or surges from bright to dim to bright the first thing you need to check is the headlight bulb for damaged filaments then check your light circuit fuse, then check your head light bulb socket ground wire for a clean tight connection, that being said the usual suspects are:

1982 Suzuki GS1100E misfires
Hi, Nolan and the usual suspects are:
1. Severely discharged or a damaged battery should have 12.5 volts or more and be able to pass a proper "LOAD" test if necessary, you may have a cursory reading of 12.5 volts or more but little or zero amperage the battery is faulty and must be replaced, AGM batteries fail in this scenario more so than lead acid batteries.
2. Check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
3. Spark plugs in bad condition or partially fouled.
4. Spark plug cables in bad condition and leaking check for spark leakage in the dark
5. Spark plug gap too close or too wide.
6. Faulty ignition coil, module, and or sensor.
7. Loose, dirty, or corroded ignition module connector at crankcase.
8. Faulty CKP or CMP, MAP, ETS, ATS, TPS, O2 sensor.
9. Dirty air filter.
10. Intake air leak.
11. Water, dirt, or rust in the fuel system.
12. Carburetor contaminated, sticky float, plugged jets.
13. Carburetor vacuum diaphragm torn, cracked, not seated or installed improperly.
14. Multiple carburetors out of sync.
15. Fuel filter clogged.
16. Old or contaminated fuel.
17. Fuel tank vent system plugged or carb vent line closed off.
18. Gas cap diaphragm valve faulty.
19. Vacuum line from intake manifold to fuel valve is broken, cracked, pinched, or missing.
20. Carburetor controls misadjusted.
21. Incorrect valve timing.
22. Valve springs floating, weak, or broken.
23. Damaged intake or exhaust valve.
24. Incompatible performance parts.
25. Control module may be in "LIMP" mode
26. Check for engine trouble codes.

Hi, Amanda if your headlight is not working, only one beam works, keeps burning out, blinking, dim or surges from bright to dim to bright the first thing you need to check is the headlight bulb for damaged filaments then check your light circuit fuse, then check your head light bulb socket ground wire for a clean tight connection, that being said the usual suspects are:
1. Faulty ground or power supply wire to headlight bulb socket.
2. Worn down solder contacts or loose fit of the bulb base in the socket due to vibration.
3. Worn, chaffed, or broken wires in the light circuit.

Motorbike light low beam works both hi and low beams and dim. Hi beam, side light work good. Bad earth? Did replace headlight shell with a plastic one, made an earth wire between indicator bolts.

Have 2000 Suzuki 600 Katana no headlight I put in new bulbs and they just went out.
Hi, David if your headlight is not working, keeps burning out or is dim the first thing you need to check is the headlight bulb for damaged filaments then check your light circuit fuse, that being said the usual suspects are:
1. Faulty ground or power supply wire to headlight bulb socket.
2. Worn, chaffed, or broken wires in the light circuit.
3. Corroded, broken, or loose pins/sockets in wire connectors.

2002 fxdl no power white wire high beam indicator on dash indicates high beam is on still no power
Well, electricity is electricity and wiring circuits are wiring circuits. I do not have a 2002 fxdl electrical service manual either so cannot help there. On a 2003 the white wire goes from the headlight to four pin connector 38B and from there to four pin main harness connector 38A pin 2 and from there to connector 20A pin 4 and from there to (fxdl only) connector 21A pin 2 to connector 21B pin 2 to high beam indicator light which has BK wire ground going to 21 B pin 6 to 21B pin 6 after which it joins other BK ground wires to speedo and to 20B pin 12 and then to 20A pin 12 to TS/TSM pin 12 (ground)

POWER from ignition switch into lighting 15 amp fuse by connector 38 pin C R/BK and out from fuse by BE to connector 24A pin3 and out connector 24B pin 3 BE into handlebar switch then out from handlebar hi/lo switch into connector 24A pin 4 W and then out from 24B pin 4 W to connector 20A pin 4 W (which joins to speedo connector 20B W and also goes to connector 38A pin 2 W which goes to 38B W pin 2 to the headlight high beam element on the right side pin with the low beam element connection on the left side (on the wiring diagram) (Ground wire is also on the (diagram) right side and goes also to HDI position lamp is on the bike and HDI position light power is from connector 38B pin 1 O/W etc.


Connector 20 is a 12 place Multilock is console gauges connector located under the console on fxdl

Connector 21 is a 10 place Multilock console gauges connector located under the console on fxdl

Connector 24 is a 6 place Deutsch left hand controls and horn connector located on the frame backbone

Connector 38 is a 4 place Multilock headlamp connector located on the frame backbone
