Question about 2013 Kymco Downtown 200i
Im riding kymco 200i why when moving off my bike jerking n slowing down is it the battery, spark plug or my clutch pad is getting wear n tear? Anyone can help me answer this please @
Hi, Adams and the usual suspects are:
1. Dirty or clogged air filter.
2. Faulty spark plug.
3. Bad Gas.
4. Improper oil level.
5. Improper chain adjustment and lubrication.
6. Low tire pressure.
7. Dirty or contaminated carburetor needs cleaning and tuning.
8. Clogged or faulty fuel pump or injectors.
9. Improper valve adjustment.
10. Slipping clutch.
11. Improper timing.
12. Low compression.

ok there is two solutions to this prob to consider first try the clutch cable adjustment. If that does nothing try The clutch springs inside the case. If there are wear marks on the clutch basket then you need to completely replace the clutch all together. let me know how you make out

Remove the panel between your legs , with a screwdriver, Use the adapter found under the seat, you can locate the spark plug there, not to easy to see try with a torch first to locate it

SOURCE: Clutch slipping
bad news. a goodly amount of 2004's came out of the factory with faulty clutches.. there's been several efforts by rebel owners to get a recall on them, but no luck so far. hope that's not what it is, but bear it in mind if you find your top speed dropping.

Check the drive belt. It probably has chunks missing or at least has flat spots (narrow spots) that cause the belt to jump every time it goes around a pulley. That will set up a heck of a vibration. Also check the pulleys for free movement. The drive belt is above the blade drive belt....

MAN ITS A MINOR PROB JST CHANGE THE SPEED OF COMBUSTION IT SHOULD BE 1 MIN AT UR RPM METER IN THE BIKE AND ITS PIN IS NEAR THE CARBURATER JST CHANGE IT AND ENJOY UR RIDE
