Hi, Michael I would really love to help you with your motorcycle question but due to the magnitude of yesterday's solar flare the batteries in my crystal ball are dead and my mental telepathy headset circuitry was melted. Are you adding oil to the gas? (32/1 = 4 ounces per gallon)
Do you still have spark? Install a new stock spark plug.
Clean the carb, but follow these steps >

Remove the carburetor from the engine.
Remove the float bowl and clean the entire carb with a spray carb cleaner from the auto parts store. Wear protective goggles to avoid getting spray in your eyes. Spray into all the little airways and fittings in the carb. Remove the two screws on the outside throat of the carb and spray into the screw holes as well.
< < READ CLOSELY > >
Be sure to put these two screws back in the same hole they came out of. IMPORTANT > do not tighten these two screws down. Only screw these in until they LIGHTLY seat. Now turn each screw one and one half turns outward. Put the rest of the carb back together, clean the air filter and install the carb. Let the float bowl fill then start the engine. Let the bike warm up then set the idle speed. This process should get you back on the road.

SOURCE: dies when hot no spark carb gets gas plugs are dry start when cool

It sounds like the coil getting hot and breaking down. Check for bad grounds also.

had the same problem with my Honda engined mower. you can't see it easily, but there is a very fine screen in the outlet of the fuel tank that gets blocked and fuel will not pass thru it fast enough to refill carb. remove tank and pour fuel in another container . Use a flexible plastic tube in the outlet or make a small wire hook to penetrate the screen,or preferably, remove it. confirm that fuel flows freely thru it, remove any debris, and reassemble. Change spark plug, add fresh fuel, and test. best of luck!!!! Ray

At this point, you are probably better off bringing it in under waranty because if its evident you messed with it, they might try to void your waranty. Thayt being said, have you tried running it with the gas cap removed? If the cap is bad it can create a partial vacuum in the tank and produce the symptoms you describe.

My 2001 arctic cat 400 has blue spark and is getting gas ive timed it cleaned the carb checked the cdi box put fresh gas and it has good compression and it still wont start

Hey Krey (cute name)..
An internal combustion engine requires three things to run:

1. A properly timed spark
2. Sufficient compression (120psi+)
3. Proper fuel/air ratio

I would suspect the carburetor in the issue...take it to a qualified professional... they will get it running...
Good luck..

Got a craftsman C459-36310 159 cc walk behind lawn mower that wont start. its only a year old. ive changed gas and removed spark plug. it looks good.I added gas to spark plug and it turned over. help!

The needle jet in the carb is most likely to have varnish on it from sitting and the carb needs to be rebuilt at this point. You can get a rebuilt kit for it cheap. As long as you are getting air, fire and fuel to the engine it should run. Check to be sure you are getting these items to the engine and if not repair that item.

I have a 2003 Kawasaki Bayou 250. It has compression and spark and it's getting gas and the timing is set but it still will not start what do I do next?

Is mixture set correct on carb. air and gas mixture. Will not run if too much air or too much gas. Also is it flooded. Is spark plug gap set Correct.

Yamaha banshee will idle beautiful.but when u give it gas fast or slow it bogs down...i cleaned the carbs and ive tuned the **** out this thing.in a turn out half turn in 3/4 turn all night and cant get it...

This is an easy one - there is a mouse nest in your airbox or in the muffler. To find out disconnect the exhaust at the cylinders and start and rev the engine - if it is OK its in the muffler. If it still bogs take the airbox and filter apart and clean them out.

Put new carb on 86 cr 80 ran fine 4 10 minutes then quit changed spark plug and gas still nothing. has spark dont know how hot also changed manifold appeared to be dry rotting still nothing. even attemped...

for any motorcycle to run you need three things. spark, fuel and compression. i see you've tried to get fuel and spark. if you have spark thats one down. dont pour fuel into cylinder. instead spray tiny bit of brakeclean or carb clean into spark plug hole. i have a feeling if you drained your gas after the carb clean the carb most likely sucked bad gas back up and might need cleaned again. ive seen it happen alot on ols bikes.

06 Kawasaki brute force 750i misses if the gas is pressed rapidly

Could be dirt in a fuel jet in the carb. You cap purchase a fuel cleaner to put in the gas tank and if that does not work the carb will have to be cleaned.
