At power-on scanner makes clonk-clonk-clonk- noise

What year is this Focus? First you need to work out what the "Clonk" is. Is this clonk only as you turn or does happen when you hit pot holes? The most common reason for a steering/suspension noise is one of the joints on the system. Get the bottom ball joint, the track rod ends and the drop links looked at.
If your car is before 2011 check the fluid level in the power steering. After 2011 they changed to electric power steering. Sometime the stiffness is that easy to fix. If you need to top it up only fill to the MAX line. After topping it up, With the engine running, turn the steering all the way to the left then all the way to the right and repeat it 3 or 4 times. This bleeds the system.
If the joints are all OK you need to look at the actual steering rack.

Normally clonking noises are caused by loose pipework.

As the valve closes the inertia in the water bangs the pipe against the wall.

For instance in heater radiator systems it can also cause a continuous banning noise when water under pressure is pumped through it, usually in sync with the rotation of the pump motor.

The clunking is most likely the starter/flywheel issue. Loose starter, starter or started bendix damaged or flywheel cracked. The P0137 is a post O2 sensor voltage low. If the sensor has not been changed, probably the sensor has failed.

check for both inner and outer worn track rod ends.

The most likely causes will be...
A worn ball joint on the front suspension.
A broken front spring.
A worn driveshaft.
Most mechanics will have a look for you at no cost.
But you can test as follows.
(Driveshaft=) in an EMPTY car park or similar area turn your steering as far as you can to the left. Drive in a circle at about 20mph and listen. If faulty you will hear a regular "clonk, clonk, clonk" noise. Repeat this with your steering hard over to the right as well. It might be louder in one direction than the other.
(Ball joint=) DO NOT DO THIS ON JUST THE JACK!! PUT IT ON AXLE STANDS!!
Make sure the steering lock is ON.
Jack the car up and PUT IT ON AXLE STANDS for stability. Using a bit of effort grab the top and bottom of the wheel and try to rock it. Grab the wheel at left and right and repeat. Other than some steering movement it should be solid. There will be movement if the joint is worn, there may even be a click or clonk noise.
(Spring=) As for the ball joint test PUT IT ON AXLE STANDS!!
With the car off the ground take off the front wheel. Using a torch get a good look at the spring from the top all the way down to the bottom. There should be no breaks, shiny or missing pieces. Gently, but firmly, try and move the spring. It should be straight and not move. Do this both sides.

Perhaps the thick power cable to the starter is broken. Is it a little click like a relay or more of a clonk like a solenoid? The starter often has the solenoid built in. It's this clonk that connects the heavy power to the motor. You don't usually notice this clonk because it's immediately followed by engine cranking.

So two possible causes;
1. Big power wire to the starter
2. Solenoid not firing.

this must be a older unit . and what you can hear is the compresor comming to rest . the clonking noise is the mounts inside the seald unit . have or are failiing . due to age . best solution is to run it till it won't . it may take years before it won't go . hope this hepled mm .

Sounds like a bad motor mount.
