Make sure the new battery has been wired correctly + to + - to - I assume it worked OK before the original battery died.

SOURCE: Battery indicator light remains on

have the alternator checked by itself . i know you had the system checked out . when you have the light on that means open circuit . also run a code testor for the computer of the vechile.

SOURCE: When you press the gas peddle, it won't accelerate.

Take it back. It's most likely failed.

Your most likely about to go out of the 10 year 200,000 mile warranty so stay on top of them about it. After your out there is no help for them.

Just bought a used yamaha 700r raptor for my kids, battery is fully charged and tested on another vehicle and it works. Not getting battery indicator to show anything. Any suggestions?

Try jumping the cylinoid post with a screwdriver with the key on if it starts you have a bad cylonoid most likely,if this is the case order a new one from amazon.com as they are much cheaper and good quality as to buying one from a bike shop

I have a Yamaha Raptor 700r battery powered atv, I have a new charged battery and when it is installed the battery power indicator lights doesn't light up at all. I know the battery works because I use it...

Assuming the Raptor does not start:
The main fuse and the fuse box are located under
the seat. There should be a spare fuse there also. Turn the key to
OFF and turn off all electrical circuits. Replace any blown fuses.Turn the key to ON and turn on the electrical circuits to check if the devices operates. If the fuse immediately blows again, have a Yamaha dealer check the electrical system.
I found this in the online owners manual at this site:
http://www.yamaha-motor.com/assets/service/manuals/2008/LIT-11626-21-12_Raptor700_SE_1516.pdf
Maybe the manual will help troubleshoot your problem.

Can someone please tell me why my grandsons Yamaha raptor 700 runs fine and all of a sudden loses power? Someone told me we needed a new pedal. Ordered that and still does the same thing. So frustrating. Thanks
