I need a manual or specs how to set the timing on a 93 Suzuki King Quad 300 ATV. Timing chain broke, bought a new one, jumped time. Need help.

SOURCE: i have no experience on working on bike engines

With no experience, get a good "factory" manual.
Hope you own or have access to some tools also.

SOURCE: hard starting 95 king quad 300

bad gas...caused carb contamination...probably water in the reserve part of the tank (which comes from ethanol separating in the gas...drain the tank (reserve side too)...open the drain screw on the bottom of the carb...re-fill and try again...

try adjusting the high jet on the carb

Still sounds like the pilot system in the carb is not clean... these are TINY passages.. several of them too! .. some hidden by blind plugs that have to be removed to properly clean the carb!!! If you are not sure how to do this.. take it to a professional!!!!

While ridding my 300 king quad in third gear it started sounding like it was smuthering and started losing power i drove aboit a half mile and cut it off it started back up perfect but would not pull out...
Just a guess, but check the fuel filter. Clean it if you can or just replace it. I have had a similar problem with a different vehicle, and after doing everything else it turned out to be a 99 cent fuel filter.

My 2013 Suzuki 750 King quad EFI will start but if you move the steering it shuts down. Also, when slowing to a stop, the bike stalls. Each time the bike stalls it immediately starts.
Sounds like you have a wire that is ALMOST broken or the insulation is worn off and grounding, or turning is pulling a wire loose from a connection. .. this type of problem is HARD to trace down sometimes... good luck

Hello I have a troy bilt tb685ec 4 cycle string trimmer and its A joke. There is no choke and no adjustment screw for the air/fuel to be tuned. The thing will fire up and run for about 3 mins and die. Then wait about 5 mins for it to start up again and do the samething. It also will bog down and die if I hold it wide open throttle. Which isn't really full it's only 3/4 throttle maybe from sound and feel. The filter,oil, and gas are new. The plug is fairly new about an hour run time on it. When I pull the plug its medium to light gray in color making me believe it's running lean. Can I throw a carb from another TB and make it run or is there possibly just a clogged passage is the carb? I removed and cleaned it out with carb cleaner with no change. I'm stumped and after reading reviews on this model I'm thinking the trash is the best place for this machine. Any insite on a possibe culprit would be much appreciated. Matt
