Here's my 2 cents... you need to remove the seat, saddlebags, disconnect battery, dsconnect the wiring harness, remove the signal lamps and the hardware securing the fender. There are torque values u need to know when installing the new one. This is all in the service manual for your model. I would go to the dealer and get one, you want all the specs correct and thats the only way to get em

SOURCE: I need to remove fender from honda goldwing to

if i remember correctly, there are one or two bolts holding on the bracket and you simply have to pull back the cord straight back and out. It may take a little shaking but it will slide out. Remember it looks like a small square metal line that runs through ther cable housing and has minimal ability to flex without braking. This you do not want

I want to remove back seat is there a part to buy for where the seat is removed from

Hi, Janice not sure about that I know some guys will sometimes velcro a wide piece of leather(fender bibs) to hide new paint versus faded paint discoloration or seat scratches for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary, transport your bike to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your problem. How to remove rear fender

To remove the rear fender, you'll have to remove the 4 or 5 bolts that attatch your fender rail to fender, to keep from scratching the paint on the fender when you remove it, loosen one of the fender rails (struts) more than the other side so you can remove fender without scratching it. Becareful with your tail light wiring when your taking the license plate mount/tail light off.

Hi Anonymous, if it is not to bad you can remove fender and take it to a paint and body shop and for a small fee they might be able to restore the original shape to a point you can live with, or you can buy a new fender. Good luck
