If what you mean the tail lights work, but not the brake light, means one of the 2 filaments in the bulb is fried and bulb needs to be replaced. if that is good, there are 2 switches that feed the brake light, one onthe brake pedal and one at the hand brake.it is unlikely they both went at the same time , so check if they are geting power with a voltmeter. it may be a fuse

03 Durango- rear tail lights. All new bulbs. New housing. Reverse light doesn't work, blinker flashes fast when brakes applied (normal with brake not applied), with headlights on brake lamp only lights...

No, your brake lamps should only work when brake pedal is activated. Your headlamp switch shouldn't have anything to do with brake lites.
Sometimes if there is a faulty ground, your lamps may act weird?

Turn signals don't flash when braking 99 grand marquis

Check all earth wires on all lights.
most lights in cars run in series so if u loose one you loose the other mainly caused by bad earth on globe holders or corrosion where bulb sits.
little sand paper goes a long way.

My break ligths dont flash

Unless both bulb filaments went out, there is a switch that the brake pedal sits on when released. It should be located under the dash above your foot. You shouldn't miss it. When the brakes are applied, the switch pops out activating the lights, it sounds like that switch may be faulty. Hope that works

Brake lights not working when you apply brakes

check the brake light switch.
It's usually up under the dash, and it activated by the brake pedal.

There are 2 wires going to it. To test it, jumper across the leads.
or, watch the "action" sometimes you just need to reposition the switch to get it to work.
