The gas tank has to come off. It's really not that much more than you've already done. If you don't pull the tank, it's a fight all the way. This way is much easier.

Ok. I don't see how to unclip or unscrew the tank but I do see where to cut off the gas supply.
Her is my problem. I have to move this bike to a location an hour away to be shipped off island. My battery is down and I don't have enough funds to get a mechanic to do it and buy the battery and ship the bike before I fly out. This is a perminent move so I need to know how to remove all of these things now so that I can get the bike to the ship. Would you tell me how to remove the tank?
