I can push start it, but it will not start using the electric start. It turns over good and the battery is charged, I took off the air filter and it had a bunch of oil on it cleaned that up put in new plug, still wont start. I pulled the new plug and it was dry so I guess its not getting gas but why will it push start. Help please
Clean carb inside and adjust float to correct specifications one off the jets could be blocked or the float is to high bend the metal where the little valves on good luck

Replace your battery with new one because your existing one most likely became faulty with age.Even if you charge it it wont last. It is time for new one.
The TTR-125 Carburetor's Run Lean by design. Mine had the same issues till I found a post on Thumpertalk.com on Carb and air box Mod. This is a good starting point on gets; 110 and 112.5 main and 17.5 pilot. But you must check spark plug coloring to make sure the jetting is correct. Check spark plug after the bike has been ridden for a wile. I also took out the stock baffle and replaced it with exhaust tip and now it fires up after a few kicks and worms up in a few minutes.
was the battery charged prior to replacing alt if it wasn't battery possible still to low/weak to start vehicle alt charges battery and also runs accessories / battery starts vehicle if it wasnt charged vehicle wont start if battery is charged check conections for loose or damaged
