1994 dodge intrepid...car was working fine until this morning...no power to starter soleniod...no power to ignition coil..... all non ignition key controlled devices working ( I.E. headlights, horn, and brake lights work)....only part of the ignition key controlled devices work intermittantly when steering coloumn is punded on ( heater fan and power windows) but still no power to starter soleniod or coil pack...also radio quit working at same time)....could the ignition switch be at fault?

The alternator would not come into play unless the battery was dead. Could be corrosion inside one of the battery cables, or a blow maxi fuse for the fuse box. Or a bad ground connection. You would need to take a meter or test light and check for power at the starter post, and the major fuses.
make sure you have spark, sometimes if you start bypassing stuff the ignition works only on a resistor to much electricity and it won't work, not enough and it won't work.
you need fuel and fire to start your car. if you have no power at your coil packs then you will need to check your crank sensor as well to see if you have power there. i would also double check your fuses and relays. if you have a test light then i suggest you check the power and trigger wires at your starter to providing that the engine is not spinning over.
