Hi, Remi for this scenario you will need your service manual that has all fastener torque specs -fluid capacities and a wiring diagram on the back pages, parts fiche, and owners manual if you can not find the best tool you ever bought for your Honda, despair not, for a mere zero $0 you can download another one.
For more information about your issue and valuable "FREE" downloads that you will need for viewing or printing please click on the blue links below. Good luck and have a wonderful day.

SOURCE: I have a 2005 vtx 1300 and it really back fires

Hi TJ,
There are a lot things tht may cause backfiring.
It could be due to the timing being incorrect.
It can also be due to the gas having water in it.
When did you start facing this problem?,suddenly, or after some reapirs or was the bike stored for a longtime ?

SOURCE: gas is dripping from the petcock fuel valve( cover

Your bike has a vacuum operated petcock. The vacuum diaphram inside the cover set has cracked and is allowing fuel to leak from the vent hole. Unfortunately, you cannot buy just the diaphram, you've got to buy the cover set (#5 in the picture below), P/N 16953-KEA-023, or replace the whole petcock assembly (item #2), P/N 16950-MEM-674.278cd21.jpg

I have a 2004 honda vtx 1300 c motorcycle that has an electric dr

using a 12 volt test lamp conected between the removed negative battery cable and, the negative battery post; with the fuses in place; you will see the test lamp lit if you have a power draw. as you have already found the correct circuit: the starter relay circuit: check each component in that circuit i.e. the relay, starter, starter switch, etc. untill the lamp goes off. you will have found the problem part.
