I just had the same problem 2004 gsxr 750. After massive troubleshooting and time I found out it was the gauge. So I then ebayed a gauge on ebay and bought on for 290 dollars. Speedo now works. I am just off on the actual speed, need to by a speedo healer.

Just bought 05 gsxr 750 and at idle it running 220. is that normal

If it's 54 outside and the fan is not running because the cold air is passing through the radiator and the coolant is doing it's job. Then you come up on a red light and basically all of the sudden that 54 degree wind chill has somewhat stopped (because 54 degrees outside and going 50 mile per hour creates quite a wind chill) the engine will heat up, cause the thermostat to open allowing the fluid to flow through the system. Now the fan kicks in at 220 degrees and begins to cool everything back down or you start riding and the wind cools it back down again...........I hope this helps a little. My bike heats up quickly too especially after riding for awhile and then stopping at a red light. I flush my coolant system yearly before the winter. It's generally recommended every 2 years.Ref: https://www.gixxer.com/forums/80-06-07-gsx-r600-750/294175-rapid-heating-idle.html

Yamaha banshee

15 - 46 = 3.06 ratio..
6-7 links.. you need to move the axle all the way forward when installing a new chain... (it will stretch!) moving the axle all the way forward gives you plenty of adjustment later!!

Hi, i have a 1996 gsxr 750 srad and was wondering where the sensor for the speedo was?

Hello,
The speedometer sensor is located in the countershaft sprocket cover. This is the cover at the lower left rear of the engine. If you are having speedometer problems, be sure and check the speedometer rotor that is on the end of the countershaft. They have come loose and caused problems.

Clutch problem or cable

I did the same upgrade with the same bike. put a 16t in front and 64t in rear, never had a problem. just more power. I did notice when the chain was to tight things werent working right. gave the chain a little slack and the bike performs great. you might want to remove the front sprocket cover and check if the end of the clutch cable is installed properly. Hope this helps!
