6. Check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
7. Intermittent short circuit due to damaged wire insulation.
8. Dirty air filter
9. Intake air leak.

SOURCE: My 98 Suzuki VL1500 has a weak spark to the rear

check your carbs. it might be dumping to much gas in that cylinder, causing the plug to fowl out and have a weak spark. make sure the carbs are adjusted and then sync them for proper fuel air mixture.

SOURCE: Correct procedure to remove rear

Do you mean tyre or wheel.? Tyre removal requires the use of a tyre bead breaker and levers and rim protectors, once the tyrehas been broken away from the wheel all around on both sides , start tyre removal with the valve at about 1oclock insert a rim protector followed by a tyre lever and rest it against the rim protector and under the first bead of the tyre, then push the tyre into the middle of the wheel rim at about 6oclock on the rim, and keep it down while yuo push down the tyre lever against the rim pulling the tyre over the rim at the valve end, you will then need to insert another lever close to the ready inserted one to continue pulling the tyre over the rim all the way around untill removed completely, wheel removal on this bike is easy, securing the bike is not, because of the rear fender design you will have to lift the bike high enough to remove the wheel from the rear of the bike once it has been removed from the bike, Remove the securing nut from the r,hand side its a little fiddely unless you remove the exhaust silencers which is probably the best bet, remove the rear caliper and carrier from the bike, pull the wheel spindle from the left side out, it may need a slight. Knock to start from the r,hand side, then the caliper. Carrier can be removed , note order of spacers, and place in a safe place for replacment, from the right grab the wheel with both hands and pull gently untill it is removed from the diff, carefully remove from the frame takeing care not to mark the wheel or other paintwork, and not to dismount the vehicle fro its stand,

2005 Suzuki Boulevard C90 the rear brake light stays on

Hi, Michael before diagnosing any brake light issue always check the bulb and fuse first for integrity a brake light staying on is usually caused by the front brake light switch, which is mechanical, not disengaging. On early models moving the throttle control housing closer to the front brake master cylinder is the main fix. On late models, the switch gets tweaked and needs to be realigned. A brake light that does not come on when the brake lever is applied can be caused by a faulty switch or no continuity in the wiring at the switch. The rear brake light switch is hydraulic and it is extremely rare to malfunction in a closed circuit condition causing the brake light to stay on. Usually, rear brake light switch issues are caused by no brake pedal free play or a sticky rear master cylinder piston. A brake light that does not come on when the rear brake pedal is depressed can be caused by a faulty switch, air contamination in the brake line, or no continuity in the wiring at the switch.

Setting idle

If you have carbs:

http://www.bikebandit.com/2005-suzuki-boulevard-c90-vl1500-carburetor/o/m147639sch503698

Part #60 adjusts both carbs' idle speed evenly.

If you have throttle bodies:

http://www.bikebandit.com/2005-suzuki-boulevard-c90-vl1500-throttle-body/o/m147639sch506971

Part # 14 should adjust the idle speed on both.

I am not sure what your asking but I am assuming what models will work. 1998-2003 models of vl1500 I know for sure 2004-current vl1500 and c90 boulavard may work as well I am about 90% sure they will but not 100%. I hope this is the information you are looking for.
