No spark when I turn it over. It sat for awhile.
The first thing to check is the battery, read the voltage with a multimeter, a battery in good condition and fully charged should read as 12.6 volts + anything less than 12 volts and the battery is u/s
Even i had the same problem with my bike all i had to do is change the starting coil. i even changed the battery but that wasn't the problem. so try the starter coil instead wasting time and money in wrong advice

dump all the old gas out, put in fresh stuff, sometimes you gotta change the spark plugs as well.

Wiring has open somewhere or fuse is bad-test w light. Inspect harness for flaws or disconnections..takestime. Ignition switch cud b faulty or corrosion elsewhere
