Head gasket repairs will cost you thousands 2 at the least as it involves stripping down half your engine, if the engine starts and you can run the car for more than 40 mins you are in luck, there is this stuff called SEAL UP i think the brand is CARGO you pour it in your radiator and it chemically welds your head gaskets and other cracks back together and lasts for ages and actually works brilliantly assuming the crack isn't to big used it on my car last nite as i had blown head gasket and it runs great now

Ahh darn, my pontiac that I have now has a blown head gasket and it'll cost me around $2500 to get it repaired. I was hoping that a BMW engine was like a honda or toyota - where you dont need to strip down half of the engine. The head gasket on this bmw is completely blown and will not start, and it's the only problem with it - selling for $500.. worth it?
