Start with the spark plugs if no spark from them take the cap off see if there is spark from ht lead if not test the coils,make sur there is batery life

I would definitely start with connections. It could be loose connections. Is your battery fully charged? Before you spring for the coils make sure you have good voltage.
Have you pulled the line from the petcock and checked for fuel when you turn it to on or reserve?
If you have fuel flow then maybe the floats are stuck blocking the fuel from filling the bowls. Tap on the float bowls with the handle of a screwdriver. Also if your carbs have a drain screw on the bowls open them and see if fuel starts to flow.
I don't recall if your bike has one, but I have seen few carbed bikes with electric fuel pumps as well. If yours has one then that is for sure something to check into.
If you have spark and still the bike is not starting ( and the timing on the spark is correct) make sure you got fuel flowing to the engine, if fuel is getting there and still the engine doesn't start, check the cylinder head and pistons and make sure you got compression.
These are the problems that can cause a bike not starting.

Suzuki Bandit 250 1996 model has a ******* caburator, pl clean the caburator and ride daily,when you ride the bike pl continue the rpm level between 4 and 6, dont take suzuki brand again pl goto next time honda brand..honet... etc...................................
