YOU DONT NEED SETTINGS TO SYNC CARBS. YOU NEED A CARB SYNC GAUGE. TURN THE SYNC SCREW UNTIL BOTH GAUGES READ THE SAME! AS FAR AS THE SLOW SPEED ADJ. USUALLY 2-2.5 TURNS OUT FROM BOTTOMED WILL SUFFICE.

What would be the cause or most likely cause of noticable hesitation on acceleration of 2002 polaris xc sp 500 with tps

I've owned many polaris snowmobiles and to me it sounds exactly as the current owner states. It probably needs the carbs thoroughly cleaned, taken out and apart. I would also get new plugs as well. I prefer ngk plugs for my sleds. If you've never done it there ate plenty of you tube videos on how to clean and adjust the carbs.

High idle after warm up

Could be a easy adjustment, Could be leaking air around the boots, If anyone has fooled around with the air/fuel screws then it could be that, Also could be needing a carb synk, Carbs might need to be cleaned, My guess is Out of Synk

Clutches can be easily disassembled using the proper puller and spider removal tool, you will also need a holding fixture as the spider can be very tight.

Polaris xlt 1994 hey i start up me sled let it warm up then i push on the gas and it wants to die out solution??

I have a 1996 polaris xlt 600. I changed the coils, spark plugs, cdi box, put fresh gas, and did a compression check on motor witch read 98 across the board. I also rebuilt the carbs and they were tuned. My problem with this sled is when it gets warmed up the motor dogs out. could it be the water pump making this happen?

Trying to recharge a/c . which is low side

the Low side of any air conditioning system is the line within the set with the largest circumference. In any system there is the small line and the larger line. The small line carries liquid refrigerant back to the expansion valve from the compressor. The compressor compresses vapor into liquid. The liquid is obviously the high side, and to recharge the system, you need to pull a vacuum to remove all air water contaminants and then recharge by hooking up the the refrigerant (oriented to release gas not liquid) to the larger of the two line sets, this would be the expanded gaseous refrigerant heading back to the compressor to be compressed and cooled to return to a liquid state.

1994 JOHNSON 200 WONT RUN AT ALL WITHOUT CHOKE'ON CARBS CLEAN. WONT DRAW FUEL FROM CARBS COMP GOOD. EX CLEAR ,GOOD SPARK,?NEW TIMING BASE NO HELP. POWER PACK NO HELP. WONT IDLE AT ALL, RUNS FOR ABOUT 10...

If you have a primer bulb and the motor "recovers" after a near stall with a pump of the bulb, then you have to replace your fuel pump. Johnsons do have this problem often. Otherwise it could be the high speed jets although it sounds like you checked the carb good. Also if you have a primer bulb, Replace everything from the tank to the engine. Costs about $14 at Wal Mart, $55 at a boat place.
