2 stroke 49cc quad engine dies when i accelerate

If you have replaced the spark plug then the possibilities are the ignition coil is weak or the starter mechanism is faulty.

My 49cc 2 stroke pull start scooter wont turn over

check the spark plugs, the carb

Sounds like the saw is running lean. Check the fuel filter, air cleaner and muffler for plugging. Check the condition of the fuel lines and that the fasteners on the carburetor are tight. If all ok, turn the 'L' and 'H' jet needles on the carburetor CW to stops (lightly), then back out each 1-1/2 turns CCW. This is a basic setting and the engine should start and run. Allow the engine to warm up, pull the throttle full on, and adjust H CW until the engine starts to speed up, but continues to 4-stroke. Proper adjustment is when the engine 4-strokes, but immediately 2-strokes when cutting. This produces the most power and least heat. Allow to idle and adjust L CW until the engine runs fairly well, yet will allow it to 'follow the throttle'. Set the idle speed screw til the chain stops moving, but keeps the engine running. hi i have just brought a mini harley 49cc bike
in red and black and dont have all the light the kill switch wire has been cut and on the brake leves not the brake wires have been cut for the lights or something there is no battrey on it ent got a key

if it has a kill switch make sure it is on, check that you are getting spark at the plug and have the right fuel in the motor.
Remove the air filter from the carbi and squirt some 2 stroke fuel directly into the throat of the carbi and try to start it.

20 seconds is all that is required to drain the float bowl. You have a float bowl/needle valve problem.

Carborator needs cleaning

I have a 49cc cateye mini bike it starts idles fina dn every thing but when you ride it it goes fine i can reach around 55 almost 60 with the stock engine but it seems to quit on my after about 15 mabey a little less sometimes and then will not start for about another half hour
