Starter Cluch problem / Starter

Starter would start the bike fine except in the morning, it seems to engage to far or to hard into the starter cluch and gets jamed. I would have to put it in gear and move it around to get it to releace then try again. Sometimes it would take 10 trys then I could get it going. Once started it would start fine and on the first try the rest of the day.

Starter needs to be rebuilt, most parts are available from your local dealer, would also be a good idea to take your starter armature to an automotive electronics repair facility so they can check your armature on a tool called a growler for winding integrety....also check the magnets in your armature housing to ensure they havent cracked or been damaged in any way.

1997 Suzuki VZ 800 Marauder wont start

It sounds like a starter relay.the fact that the bike will start when you jump to the starter motor supports this.Your starter relay will be close to the battery and will have four wires going to it ,two lighter wires and two battery size.cables.It will be about two inches long and be black on top and metallic below.Service is by replacement only, I think they are around $25-$35.Just remember you have battery power going to the one side, don't let it ground on the frame.good luck

I have replaced the starter and the relay and I still don't get the starter to start I have checked the switch on the cluch to see if that was the problem and it seems to be working fine. What else could it be ????

Were is cluch sensor on jetta manual tra

I believe there is a switch on a lot of manual trans cars on the floorboard. This ensures that the clutch pedal is all the way down before the starter is engaged.( I am taking a guess here)

I have a 2005 kdx 200. bike starts and idles perfect, when i put the bike in gear the idling drops and the bikes wants to pull forward as if the clutch isnt engaging, but when i rev the clutch seems fine,...

the cluck need to be looked at as its draging its not fully disengaged witch is what makes the bike pull forwards when you put it in gear have a look at the free play in the cluch cable and if there is a lot take some out this will help to disengage the cluch a bit more but dont take all the free play out you need a little left in say 1/4 of an inch is plenty at the handelbars

who told you that???? a wally or what?
im sorry to tell you the cluch slave cylinder has nothing to do with the cluch thrust bearing the slave cylinder only operates the cluch rod,, which inturn pushes on the cluch thrust bearing which then disengages the cluch,,,if the trust bearing is warn or wearing out it rumbles or starts a knocking sound from the gear box,, this noise gets worse as the cluch bearing wears out,, finaly it starts to realy screem,, bad like!!! the problem is,, you need a new cluch fitted to the bike which is far from cheep to get repaired,,,,,and its a big job too,
i hope this has put you right,,
good luck,,from1 biker 2 another
