You're bike may be equipped with a vacuum operated petcock. See if the fuel valve has a "prime" position on it. If so, put it in this position. If you still don't get any fuel to the carb, you'll have to remove the petcock from the tank and clean the screen or unstop the petcock. I'd put a manual petcock in and block the vacuum line.

If you already have a manual petcock and you're not getting fuel, remove the petcock, clean the screen, and blow air through the petcock in both the "On" postition and the "Res" position.

Saw wont start, getting fuel and spark

Try starting it with the air filter removed. If it starts, clean the air filter. It could also be the fuel filter. If you replaced all the fuel lines, make sure you didn't get the oil line mixed up with a fuel line

Where is a 1989 nissan z24 4 wheel drive fuel regulator located? starter went bad, replaced it, fuel line had a leak, replaced it, fuel pump wont push fuel through it, bought a new one and now the truck...

Fuel reg. is connected to the fuel rail where the return line is connected, my thoughts are you mentioned air in your lines.. crack open fuel lines and run fuel pump to release air from lines. Pump then should prime all lines must be primed turn engine over to release air ( No Smoking) then tighten lines. fuel rail might have valve, (looks like tire valve) if so it is recommended that air is relieved at air valve

It ran out of gas and now wont start. I put gas directly into throttle body, and it starts/runs, but wont remain started when gas runs out.

Sounds like fuel pump. Your fuel pump relies on fuel to act as coolant. Running it low often makes pump run hot and shortens it's life. Sounds like running out of fuel did just that. Way to test, pull fuel line off in engine compartment and have someone turn key to "ON" (NOT START!!!) position, you should fuel spraying out of line) If not, fuel pump is bad.

My 91 nissan sentra would not start, I checked the fuel pump, it was not working, so i replaced it, the fuel pump is now working , but it still wont start. the sprack plugs were replaced, the igniition...

Maybe you have a plugged fuel return line. You have a fuel supply line and a fuel return. If its plugged you can not get the air out of the lines.Remove the the line and blow through it If you cant its clogged. Also you can prime the line line by turning your key on and off .You may need to disconnect the fuel line to make sure gas is coming out when you do this

Wont start

I'm assuming the engine is cranking over while turning the key and wont start. from this assumsion it possible the cam sensor on the timing chain is broken. or no fuel pressure. to test for fuel pressure, turn the igntion key on, locate the fuel line & port on the fuel line, remove the cap & depress the small screader valve by using a small pocket screwdriver, fuel should shoot out with a lot of pressure. no fuel shooting out most likey the fuel pump is bad. if this has good pressure the cam sensor is most likey the cause. to replace the sensor, you need to replace the timing chain.
