Sounds like you have stretch the chain sometimes this is cause by overtighting lack of lube or just alot of miles on chain.You can take a link out if you want to but its not recommended.

Check all the small vacuum hoses for leakage or loos fit, check for damaged or broken air intake hose. Check if there is anything loos between throttle body and cylinder head, like broken gasket, craks or so. Idling is adjusted by the ECU and there are no screws anywhere. In most cases, lost vacuum is the reason for high rpm at idling. In some cases it's possible that an O2-Sensor or the cat is bad, and the ECU tries to adjust but get the wrong signals.
You need to loosen up the rear bolts holding the rear wheel to the frame and push the rear tire back until the chain is tight. If the chain is still so long that their is a lot of slack then you will need to remove a link in the chain. With chainsaws once you refit teh chain to the sprocket (it runs one way only) and the guides are sitting in the groove in the bar. The bar needs to be pushed so there is very little flex in the chain and then the nuts that hold the bar on should be tightened. If the chain is loose it will not get driven properly and it will jump off the bar. Also if oil is not lubricating the chain it will heat up quickly, stretch and jump off the bar. If in doubt - take it to your local chainsaw mechanic for checking and a demonstration.
Don't even bother to repair the pull chain switch, get a new one at KMart, HomeDepot or similar store for less than $2.
Two times I've repaired one, it comes apart when I need it the most.

Chances are you need to do a complete tune up. This means a new spark plug, cleaning the carb, new air filter and new piston rings. I would also re-seat the valves. Any further top end work ( replacing valves, bore cylinder and new piston ) is entirely based on what is found after tearing into the head.
Timing chani loos will not damage your engine how ever will rattle a lot.
Maybe stuck as most new models have auto tention adjusting , if you loosen the adjuster pin with the nuts that are bolted the adjuster to the engine the timing chain will spring to its position automaticaly.
its probably behond repair as Im not sure what you paid for that model but there sell here in the states for 79.95 US. I kind guessed you were not in the US as you said loo!!(he he} just a luck guess I guess/?
