No power ok i just put a brandnew carb, coil and cdi on my scooter and it starts fine and idles fine just when i start going it will start out like normal and will bog down and cut off what could it be?

Hey MPCD.. Take the carb to a QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL.. they can fix it...

diapharm is bad in carb

cdi box is the brain of your lil ride id replace it and check the exhaust for restrictions some times there is a screen that's serviceable in the muffler

indicates that a component in the ignition circuit is overheating internally and failing
could be a coil or cdi unit or any sensors if fitted

Check your vacuum lines and fuel lines/filter,another possibility is the manifold between the carb and head. If there are any splits in any of these you will get rough idling and stalling! Safer to replace the cheap factory ones with upgraded parts.

If you have 2 carbs that work on another unit but not this one then that narrows down the fuel problem to either an intake/ vacuum leak or bad fuel in the tank.
The compression sounds a tad high which could indicate valve timing ( exhaust opening late or not long enough)
On the ignition side you could have a bad CDI , weak pulser coil or sheared flywheel key.
I believe I would lean toward suspecting the ignition. I had a Honda that gave me fits acting like a lean issue. I was in that carb 25 times if I was in it once. Same thing, idled fine but died on acceleration. It was the CDI. Put a spark tester inline with your spark plug and see if the unit dies due to lack of spark.

did you check the sparkplug? is the primary coil is good and still can deliver power?Your ignition coil is good?if all your answer is YES",then its time to check your CDI...
it is 99% the problem is in CDI..Replaced it..,But when your motorcycle is contact point operarted,then check the "timing",if you sure you set the right timing but it is still not firing,then replace the condenser.
You may also get rid to your ignition switch because sometimes there is the problem due to the stucked up of its component inside it at is grounded continously even the key has already turn into "on"mode.

Just a very quick check,Swap the sparkplugs over.Don't put in new ones.If the problem follows that plug,it is only the sparkplug.Hope you get it fixed

The stabilizer is a bad thing for some carbs. It has a chemical in it that can eat away seals and gaskets inside your carb. Grab a gasket set for it, replace those, make sure to spray the carb out, then put it all back together adn you should be ok.
