My pride mobility cart over charges one battery.when i unhook that battery it sparks. if i leave hooked up the batterys run down.

Hi U can leave it on all night when the batteries r charged it will stop . when green light is ( on) the charger they r charged..... Cheers

your title says camera ? but your post is in pride mobility ? but this will apply for any rechargeable batteries. the batteries could be at the end of there life ( they only charge so many times ) but cold and other things can drain them. heres a fix to try and get the full charge to stay full. you might have to do it a few times. charge batteries over night untill fully charged,prop the scooter up and jam the throttle on and just let it run flat ( anything else with full charge do the same.power on and let them run flat ) once there flat recharge again but drain the battery so it wont even light the lights.try it to see if the next charge holds ? if not try the same thing again. this is called calibrating..you might find after the first try it will hold half of its charge but will get better the more time you calibrate it. if that dose not work you will need new batteries. also try leaving them out of the item not in use to see if they drain on there own,this could give you a clue as to something being left on when there inside ? hope this helps

Needs a full overnight charge of at least 12 hours and left on charge even when the lights tell you it's is charged up.then get into the habit of running it right down to improve the storage stamina of battery.good idea to take charger out with you so if you get a chance to top it up somewhere whilst away from home.remember in cold weather these things can't travel as far.

no but if you leave the key on and unhook the battery then hold down either the horn or breaks to get the remaining charge all cars store even after the battery is unhooked to drain away when either the break lights stop lighting up or the horn stops blowing leave it unhooked with the key on for ten to fifteen min then take the key out and hook the battery back up that should reset it

If your battery is totally flat some chargers see this as connecting to a short and will not charge. If the battery has a charge run it down some, my batteries often don't take much of a charge if any. Does the charger light up.Does the charger have any fuses on its out put wiring. Open the charger up, do you see fuses. When the charger is on do you see any blinking lights. If you get a blinking yellow light when hooked to a battery there is something wrong with the battery. If the battery is charged, you should unhook the charger. If you leave the charger hooked up to long it could possibly ruin your battery. If it is not charged you can leave it hooked up.

David Are you leaving the power on while you are charging the Chair? If you are try charging with power off at the joystick. The manufacturers of all power batteries do not recommend charging with automotive chargers. I would try to locate a friend or neighbor that also has a chair or scooter and borrowing their charger for a few hours to see if it will charge your chair. If not contact your provider and borrow a charger from them. If the different charger works then yours is bad. You shoud be able to order a charger through your provider or by calling Pride Mobility @ 1-800-800-8586 Hope this helps you PS I didn't say you couldn't use the "other" charger. But I wouldn't want you to think I approved of it

never leave charging all the time you want to charge it every 6 hrs of running time to let your batterys cycle down. it would be the same if you charge your cell phone everytime you make a call if you cant keep track of it get a state of charge its a volt metter like a gas gauge for the batterys if you do it my way you will get more run time and your batterys will last around 10 yrs if keep doing it your way them about a couple yrs on them

A fully charged battery should be over 12 volts. You may need to change your batteries.
