Not, sounds like a seal vent for the water pump, shouldn't leak.

That is the weep hole for the water pump located along the water pump shaft passage between the oil seal and the water seal. The water seal is leaking coolant. You'll need to replace both seals and the bearing to properly tighten things back up. Inspect the water pump shaft and replace it if it is worn or grooved where the seals ride on it. Don't forget to get a water pump gasket and a right crankcase cover gasket.

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY WATER PUMP IS BAD?

There are a number of hints that can signal failure. The obvious ones are when the pump fails catastrophically and causes rapid water loss, the fan wobbles and possible damages the radiator, etc.
However, that is not always the case in impending failures. Squealing can be a sign of pump bearing failure. Pudding of coolant under the front center of the vehicle is a telltale sign of pump leakage. Water pumps have a "weep hole" that lets a small amount of coolant escape when the bearing sleeve is wearing out. But you can be losing coolant from the pump and not see the puddle because in the early stages of failure, the pump will only weep while running. Then the fan blows the coolant back onto the block where it evaporates. You can look for the weep hole on the bottom side of the water pump where the shaft enters the sleeve. Look for signs of coolant streaking or small gatherings of coolant on engine parts just below the pump. The primary consideration is that there is coolant going missing. You may be able to remove the serpentine belt and wiggle the pump shaft to see if there is any side-to-side play in it. There should be none.

Sound commng from front of engine, loss of coolent a little, but not overhheating, a little loss of power sometimes/ the nose sounds loud and clangs a little, could it be the water pump

Sounds like it is the water pump. You can check by looking on the underside of the water pump at the small hole under the pulley. If coolant is coming from this hole, you need to be replacing soon.

I have 2002 chevrolet tahoe with 150000 miles that just started pushing out a quart of water every 3 days. just replaced thermostat and have had radiator flushed every 30000 miles . is the problem water...

Try to locate the source of the water loss. If it seems like it is leaking from the front in the center of the engine, then look under the water pump and see if it is coming from the weep hole. If it is coming from that hole the water pump has failed and needs to be replaced. The best time to check it is with the engine hot and sometimes it needs to be running depending on how bad the leak is. If it seems like it is coming from the front of the engine but near the sides check to see if you have a split hose.

Overheated and found small pin hole in passenger side radiator hose. Suspect thermostat(s) stuck. Need to change.

The hole in the hose will cause it to overheat through water loss and pressure loss. Replace the hose first and see how it works.

Leaky oil from small hole under the radiator pump.

The oil leak is probably a seal on the water pump shaft, There is one seal to keep the water in and another seal to keep the oil in, the small hole is a telltale hole between the two to let you know there is a problem. Dont remove the thermostat, any overheating problem could have something to do with the water pump seal
