Suzuki vl 125 intruder keeps stalling, I found a rubber pipe about 12" long hanging down the left side of engine, one end is connected to the left side of carb, where doe's other end fit?

the stalling is due to the rectifier (its a box under the plastics on the bike and has fins on it) if not this then possibly an air/fuel mixture problem but as with my old vl it was the rectifier
You are sitting on the motorcycle, that's what we call right and left.
Remove the left side cover, look near the middle and you will see a black rectangular box mounted sideways. It has a phillips head screw in the middle. On the end of the box that faces the front of the bike it should say FUSE (it may have dust over the words). Remove the screw and pop the plastic box off, the fuses are under there - 4 or 5 of them.
This is for a 1992 1400cc suzuki intruder, but the designs haven't changed much over the years.
