I HAVE A 1993 TOYOTA TERCEL THE CAR STARTED MAKING A LOUD CLICKING SOUND WHEN I STARTED IT AND IT WOULD MAKE THE NOISE IN PARK AND NEUTRUAL WHEN PUT IN GEAR IT WOULD GET A BIT LOUDER ON ICSALERATION IT DID GET FASTER AND LOUDER AT TIMES AT SOME SPEEDS IT WOULD ALMOST GO AWAY THAT LASTED FOR ABOUT 3 WEEKS THEN ONE MORNING I STARTED THE CAR AND THE NOISE WAS GONE I DROVE THE CAR WITH NO NOISE FOR ABOUT 4 TO 5 DAYS AND I WAS DRIVING IT AT ABOUT 45 MPH WHEN I CAME TO A SGNAL LIGHT THAT TURNED YELLOW I GASED IT TO BEAT THE LIGHT WELL AT THE NEXT LIGHT AFTER I STOPED I WENT TO TAKE OFF AND THE CAR WOULDT MOVE IT MADE A LOUD CLICKING NOISE IT STAYED RUNNING BUT WHEN I TURNED THE CAR OFF IT WOULDNT RESTART IT ACTED AND SOUNDED LIKE ONLY THE STARTER IS TURNING. HELP ?

sounds like you have some bad bearings or beny valves...stop running it and get it towed to a mechanic to figure it out before you damage it more

Loud noise from Exhaust means your exhaust system is leaking.
this will make the performance poor on your vehicle.

Get that check and replaced.

The noise may be your driveshaft ujoint going bad making the noise when you speed up,turn your driveshaft back and fourth by hand and see if it makes any noise. Jim Riley said that.

it would be your driveaxle on the side that makes nosie and depending on how long the knocking nosie has been knocking you might need to also do your wheel bearing also

It could be the wheel bearings, does it make more noise when turning left or right?

Grinding noise in the front end could be your bearings or you cv joint

replace fuel filter.change spark plug and wires.check all vacuum hoses.
