There is no drain at all!
If you remove the tool compartment you can get to the coolant reservoir. You will see that if there is too much coolant or the radiator gets real hot, the extra coolant will simply overflow the reservoir, go through the one black hose and empty on to the street. If you want to replace all of the coolant in the bike, you can unbolt the reservoir from the bike and disconnect the hoses and basically drain the coolant in that manner.

Well I think I misspoke about the frame cover. You just have to remove the cover to the tool compartment and then take off the cover below it. There will be 3 bolts that you have to remove. The top one is hidden behind the cover for the tool compartment, so you have to remove that cover in order to get to it. The other two are way down low. There appears to be 4 bolts, but the one is completely for aesthetics. Once you get that off, you will see the coolant reservoir and if you look closely at the visible hose, it simply empties out the bottom of the bike.

Make sure that you are allowing the shifter to return to the center position each time you shift gears. If the shifter really is sticking try a lubricating oil that will flow rather than a paste. A paste won't get in tight places like a flowable oil will. You should also check to make sure that the clutch is adjusted properly. If it is not fully dis-engaging it will be hard to shift.
Another thing that comes to mind, if you have recently changed the oil, make sure that you didn't put the wrong oil in it. If the oil is too heavy it will shift hard, especially if it is cold.
