I have a Hot Point HSM25GFRF SA refrigerator, first the ice maker / water stopped working then the the refrigerator started making a clicking noise and every time it clicks the fsn does one rotation then stops, the lights on the door panel flicker and if you push the light on the door on it comes on but then dims and flickers. Now the refrigerator is not cooling. I took the board out from the back and took it to a parts place but they said it looks OK. Whst should I do next?

    I'm having the same problem with my Frig, same model number! I have had 3 Motherboard's, replaced and within matter of min, they have caught on fire. After contacting GE/Hotpoint...they say I seem to be the only one having problems with this....What a joke, I'm reading the same things here! Ge/Hotpoint does not care about their consumer's....what a shame! They used to bring good things to life, but not anymore. I've filed numerous complaints and one with the BBB....so far the only thing I've heard from their corporate office is, Your Refrigerator is 5 years old and they will not stand behind any problem after that period of time, and the replacements parts from what I've been told, will only have to be replaced again and again. Good Luck!

I have the exact same problem.
It stopped dispensing water and ice, then it started to make a clicking noise and now the freezer and the refrigerator don't work.

It's interesting that this failure occurred 3 months after the 5 year warranty expiration.

Just bought a used westinghouse RJ275M fridge. It seems to work fine except for the noise - it has a low hum and rattling noise.
It can be compressor fan noise,may be motor getting overheated and causing noise.It has to be inspected.

Ice maker and water stopped working, hear a clicking sound. We tried cutting power and starting again, it stopped making the noise, but we still got no ice or water, and after a couple hours started making...
the sound from the icemaker is coming form the water solenoid valve, which needs to be replaced. if your frezer is cold then the fan is fine, most are switched to turn off when you open the door so you arent likely to see it running unless you set up a camcorder in your fridge :-)
