Sounds like you have lost oil pressure. Stop riding it as it will thro a rod and destroy the engine. It probably needs a crank regrind and shells big job.

Sounds like air is shooting out when accelerating. Could this be an exhaust leak? Plugs, coils, hoses seem fine. Noise is coming from passenger side under engine sounds like.

yes could very well be an exhaust leak.but that should be kinda loud and annoying..also u could have a slight whistling sound coming from ur air intake hose coming from air cleaner box to ur intake or throttle body or ur air inlet goin to the motor. when the motor is accelerated it would produce a high pitch sound like a whistling .hope this can help

What could cause clicking in motor 91 gsxr 1100 no power loss

Could be a couple of things, Also im not familiar with the gsxr engine but with my zxr iv had the motor clicking either when the cam chain has stretched a bit but not enough for the adjuster to take up the slack or when the valve clearances have needed adjustment, if one of the exhaust stud's has come loose can cause a noise but would probably make more of a knocking than clicking, Might be worth checking the manual to see what the service intervals are on the cam chain and valve clearances for that motor.

Knocking sound when 2006 GSx R-750 Suzuki motorcycle is idling. No sulfur smell at all. Just sounds rough.

Hello mary...you could have a detonation knock or "spark knock" due to bad gas.
Have you had your valve lash checked and adjusted @ recommended intervals? Could also be a timing chain noise...If you can determine what area of the engine the sound is coming from would help...To help pinpoint you can take a short piece of hose, like a heater hose or even garden hose, hold it to your ear and move it around on the engine. The knock or rattle will intensify as you get closer to it....Good luck, i hope this helps.

How do i time a 250 sx 3 wheeler

NOTES:
The cam gear has 2 holes opposite from each other, some have slash marks.
Those marks will be parellel with the head once the timing chain is on.
Both intake and exhaust valve will be closed.
If the lobes on the cam are up, then your 180 degrees out and need to flip it over

Assuming the jug is on , and motor is on TDC, install the head, hold the cam with the cam gear attached tand place it in the head with the lobes down in its place, look at the marks on the cam gear and keep them parellel with the head, put the timing chain over the cam gear carefully.
once the chain is on, check that the motor didn't move and is still on TDC, and that when you lay the cam all the way down, the cam gear marks are parellel with the head.

If the marks are parellel and motor is on TDC, now you can put your rockers back on and adjust your valve clearance. .03 intake .05 exhaust

Install you exhaust, intake , carb, etc and fire it up.

Takes time to pick up speed

Brakes will feel spongy if air is in the brake lines. Bleed the brakes. If the chain is slack then loosen rear axle bolt and adjust the chain by moving entire wheel back. Lack of power and taking time to build up speed are usually problems resulting from burnt exhaust valves. Intake valves burn less often than exhaust valves because intake valves have cool gas flowing past them in the intake stroke.

1993 YZ250 Timing

Judging by your previous questions,I think this is the info you need.
Setting cam timing with stock cams is relatively easy using the punch mark on the cam gears For stock timing, the punch marks at 9 O'clock on the exhaust cam and at 3 O'clock on the intake cam should align with the top of the head. If stock timing is altered the exhaust cam punch mark will either be one tooth above or one tooth below the top of the head.

  1. Take out tensioner.
  2. Remove both plugs from shifter side of crankcase, the center plug to turn, the 11:00 plug to locate the 'I' (not the H) in.
  3. Use a ratchet on end of crankshaft (through center plug) and zip tie ratchet to footpeg with the I lined up in the timing plug hole.
  4. With the intake cam (rear one) pointing straight back, align the punch mark on the backside of the intake cam sprocket with the top of the head. Since the slack in the timing chain is in the back, if it doesn't align exactly right at the top of the head, err slightly high. Zip tie chain to intake sprocket.

  1. Remove exhaust cam, count 12 links (where sprocket teeth will go) from the punch mark on the top of the intake cam and mark that position on the chain with something noticeable (use a Sharpie). Hold the exhaust cam close the to intake cam with the exhaust cams pointing horizontally to the front of the bike. With the exhaust cam in this position, there will be a punch mark at the top. Put the tooth above this punch mark in the chain link you marked that was 12 or 13 over. Zip-tie the chain to the exhaust cam.
  2. Reseat exhaust cam. The punch mark on the left side of the exhaust sprocket will align with the top of the head. It will be one link high. Go back and check that the I is still centered in the timing plug hole
    1. the intake cams point back
    2. the exhaust cams point frontward
    3. the rear punch mark on the intake is aligned or slight high with the top of the head
    4. the front punch mark of the exhaust sprocket is aligned with the top of the head
  3. Bolt and torque exhaust cam, torque intake if you've had it off.
  4. Install chain tensioner (wind it up, hold the screwdriver with two hands, use the third hand to put hold tensioner in place, and fourth hand to bolt it up, then release screwdriver and put end bolt in it.
  5. Remove zip ties on intake sprocket, exhaust sprocket, and ratchet holding TDC. Remove ratchet and replace both plugs.
  6. Put on valve cover and two hoses, reinstall tank and seat and go riding.
