Continued problem with a 2000 chevy blazer not starting sometimes, is now becoming more frequent. Have replaced starter, alternator , ignition wiring, neutral safety starter switch, still happens ... now happening more, have to jump with a screw driver at the starter, now it is cutting out when I put it in gear!
All started back in Dec. when I had the 02 sensor and wiring repaired at a shop to pass inspection.
Don't know what else to try.
Have replaced starter, alternator , ignition wiring, neutral safety starter switch, still happens ??????? Do you know how to do automotive electrical testing ? Not guessing an replacing parts . Not starting ??? How ? when you turn the key to start does the starter motor engage an spin the engine ? Or when you turn the key to start nothing happens ? A no crank no start or a cranks no start . Plus you shoud learn how the system works before trying to diagnose .

The park / neutral switch is on top of the transmission. It has a 2 wire connector. the wire colors are pink and orange/black. Tech jk
SOURCE: engine wont crank
im looking at that circuit , on the start relay on your radiator support , red is always hot via fusible link , purple to solenoid as you say , orange/black wire should be hot in run or start mode , if it is not the fuse for that wire is PCM/ABS 10 amp located fuse block in driver door jam , it does go through the nuetral saftey switch , the yellow wire going to the PCM must ground that relay to activate start mode . last note there is a PCM/CRANK fuse in the driver door jam also , 10 amp , if all this is good i would like to hear more . 1 more note about the nuetral saftey switch is the pink wire going in and the orange/black wire coming out should have continuity in park and nuetral ....let us know thanks
SOURCE: hello i need the location of the neutral safety
Under the vehicle where the shift cable goes into the transmission. There's a black plug that the linkage connected to the cable goes through. This plug senses when the shift linkage is moved, goes into neutral, and reverse for the rear lights. Remove the cable (should pop off) gently but forcefully. Note the location of the small arm and remove the nut in the center. Unscrew the switch (unplugging first), and remove.
