The front brake switch is a plunger style switch and there are no connections you can check. The rear switch has 2 connections on it. Check these connections to see if they are hooked up and clean. If you have been inside the right handlebar control (where the front switch is located) it's possible the front switch is damaged. It's very easy to do! it's very unusual for both switches go bad at the same time, so I would check the wiring before replacing the switches.
Taking your bike to a dealership might be the best choice. If you can't troubleshoot it, I certainly have a time trying to locate a problem without the benefit of being at the bike myself.
