94 fzr 600. no spark to cyl 2 and 3 i swapped the wires to from 1 and 4 see if it was the coil and the 2 and 3 sparked fine further ive tried to wire directly from the cdi to the coil with my own wires with thinking there could be a break in the wires.i've replaced them back to their original places to start back from ground zero could the voltage regulator possibly make the coil not work or maybe the cdi due to wiring i just need to know what i;m looking for and i need some help

SOURCE: Did I wire my Kill switch correctly on my '94 Yamaha YZ125?

if you were to wire it into the orange it will kill the motor.
do you get spark with kill switch on? if so definately wrong.

most kill switches go inline to the coil.

get some fresh fuel and try

SOURCE: the wires going to the voltage regulator keep burning up.

Common problem with poor quality parts, the regulator is the problem, the generator is working other wise you would not have fried the wiring, you answered your own question. someone telling porkies to get more money from unsuspecting client?
The regulator controls the voltage not the generator, the generator only supplys the voltage it cannot overcharge unless the regulator is not working properly, simple!

SOURCE: my 1991 yamaha fzr 600 wont start

how long did you let it sit for with gas in the carbs, you may have clogged up your jets. after awile gas will break down and turn into varnish, if your bike trys to push the varnish through the system it will clog the jets. try to take off your seat then remove your plastic over the gas tank. remove the gas tank and you will see four bowls *silver ones right next to where the gas tank is on the carbs*. your bowls are in sets of two. there are drain screws on the bowls to remove the gas inside. remove the 16 screws holding the bowl onto the carb. *4 on each* inside you will see your floats and jets. carefully loosen the jets with a screw driver then finish unscrewing them by hand, they are brass and very soft. you should be able to hold up the jets to the light and see a small pin hole. if not get some carb cleaner and give them a squirt and blow them out. do not try to use anything to clean them out, they are very very sensitive and one knick will change the jet. after that i would spray some carb cleaner up the jet holes and try to clean them out also. if you have a compressor it would be wise to use that to blow out the gunk from the jet holes as well. after you run threw all 8 jets put them back together and see how it goes, if nothing you may have to check the jets again and if clogged again your carbs are gunked up and will need to be cleaned

SOURCE: 94 yamaha fzr 600. only firing on 1 an 2 cyl

No one thing controls those items.
The ignition and headlight circuits
each have their own fuses under the seat.

If you have power to both of the coil sets
then the coil for cylinder 3 and 4
might be faulty.

Lights may just have a blown fuse.

You have more than one problem
going on there.

sounds like an earthing problem, check and clean the earths for the reg, also make sure the unit , and is able to keep cool by one.-ensure it has a good air flow and two-it is mounted correctly,so that any heat will be dissapated through it's mount

Only running on rear cylinder

You are Not getting spark to ur front cylinder. Swap your spark plug, if not then replace your front plug wire. if this is still not the problem ad you are sure the coil is good then look into the wire that gives the coil signal to fire

I got fzr 600 91 the left and right spark got power but not the middle ones what could be going on

The outside cylnders run off one coil and the inside two run off another coil, so there is a problem with a wire off or coil failed. if you swap the input wires on the two coils and the same coil doesnt spark it is definately that coil.

if you have a multi meter,
check the primary resistance on both coils around 2 ohms.
and secondary resistance between the two plug leads with the caps removed about 15 ohms, these figures are aproximate but you are looking for a different reading in the coil that doesnt work.
The black box is likely ok because one coil sparks. The other check would be the pick up coils which will be around 400ohms.

Make sure when you check for spark that a plug is in the plug cap and it is grounded to the engine or this can build up current in the coil and damage it

I got fzr 600 91 the left and right spark got power but not the middle ones what could be going on

check the wireing to the center coils it is possible one of the conections is lose or has come of if this is the case useing a pair of pliers close the female conction up a touch dont over do it you may not get it back onreplace the wire onto the coil were it cam from, ok thats the easy fix we all hope for if lose or disconected wires are not the problem check the spark plugs for fouling if they are wet you have to determine wether your plugs have died simple way to do this is to take the plugs from the centre cylinders & swap them with the outside start her up if she runs on the midle now get a new set of plugs however if it still only runs the ouside you will need to inspect your coils, condensors & pickups

2006 dodge caravan, 6 cyl. relaced cole, sparkepugs and wires in oct. 2009. Engine is reading #2 cyl. misfire again. Why

Firts time swap spark plug & ignition coil between two different cylinders and read again if the same #2 cyl. misfires !
If #2 cyl. is OK and another cyl. misfires then spark plug or ignition coil is out of order and must be replaced.
If #2 cyl. misfires again then #2 injector must be checked !
If ignition coils & spark plugs (complete set for 6 cyl.) are replaced then you must check #2 injector !

1991 fzr 600 no spark

you dont need your clutch to start the bike in neutral, the only wire goin near your clutch should be for your horn. the clutch is cable activated on the fzr, if you have no spark check your basics, fuse's relays and such. on the fzr there is two sets of fuses the four under your seat and then relays and one single fuse under the back plastic (left hand side if sitting on the bike). then the next easiest would be to check your wire's they need tune up's just like cars. other than that you are basically left with the digital ignitor or your coils, if you have power goin to your coils what about after them ??? Also the kickstand safety is only when the bike is put into gear it will shut off the bike if stand is down.

Dead cylinders 2003 sebring

it sounds like you may have the wires on the wrong coil. It should be #1 on the #4 coil, and the #3 wire on the #2 coil. you probably have them backwards so 1 and 3 are firing on the exhaust stroke.
the firing order is 1-3-4-2.
they should be hooked like this.
