Check compression of cylinders, all should be close the same. Swap spark plugs and check if problem cylinder moved. If bike sits for long periods of time then most likely it will be a plugged carburetor.
I am in the same boat. For me, it's a 1977 Suzuki GS550 that I just swapped out for new plugs and oil filter. The #3 plug was oily, and even after the swap, the #3 exhaust pipe isn't running as hot as the others. I haven't touched the carberator yet, as I'm waiting for the manual (this is my first bike).

when i shut off my 2002 suzuki motorcyle it run perfect then went to start i and have no power battery good have no light on dash no head light brrake light everything is dead what could be wrong can you help with a idea thank you dave
