The A stamping is not an oversize, oversizing is in 10thou\0.25mm increments, so it wouldnt even fit in the barrel.or if it was undersize it would just rattle around.
But you need to check for proper clearance.
you can check for proper clearance, with a feeler gauge between the piston skirt and the barrel, it will be around 2 thou(check your manual), as long as the clearance is within tollerance it will be ok.
check it in a few places to make sure the barrel is not out of round or tapered, an inside micrometer would help, but the feeler gauge will be pretty good if youre carefull

Hi there I have a kmx 125 with a 200cc head, barrel and piston just wondering what the difference between a kmx 125cc carb and a 200cc carb

This venturi (throat) size and the jet size are different...the smaller carb will give more bottom end.... the larger carb will make it run better mid range and top end...

BOTH must be jetted correctly...by someone that knows how!!

My pw80 has a ceased motor. I took the head off and there is a lot of surface rust. How do I +go about sorting this outis it possible to get a rebuild kit or is it a write off??

Ebay has piston , ring and gasket kits for about $30. The barrel is cast iron, so if there is no lip a simple hone may do.
I f the barrel is pitted , you will need an oversize piston kit, and a machine shop to bore the barrel to a bigger size.

My son 06 250 sxf motor seized up won't start

If the bike has been seized up it's important to check out the piston and cylinder head. It's a good learning experience and not that hard a project. Remove the seat, tank, pipe and maybe the carburetor and you should be able to get at the head bolts. Pull the head and inspect the top of the piston and ring area. Rings usually get stuck to the piston so there is not any compression. Pull the jug and more than likely there will be alloy from the piston transfered to the cylinder heard.
Take it to a bike shop or automotive machine shop that can hone it to first over. Purchase new 1st over-sized piston and matching rings. Re-assembly and replace all gaskets.
