There's no real easy way out if your axle is seized in there. You need to fiind a really big hammer, brace your front end up against some thing, and give the axle a good whack until it comes out. Unscrew the nut so its level with the axle. You just gunna have to keep wacking until it comes out. Try spraying some penitrating oil and letting it soak. It will come out, eventualy. The worst thing that can happen is you will need to buy a new front axle. Remember to grease it when you put it back. Also make sure any axle clamps are loose.

Oh that's not good but the axle MUST come out. I don't know of any way other than brute force to get it out either. I you damage the axle that isn't too bad but if you damage the wheel, that is.

What I'd do is purchase a can of KROIL penetrating oil. Get the aerosol can. Spray the axle on both ends where it goes through the spacers. Try spraying and tapping the axle in one direction then the other. If the axle is seized in a spacer, you may can cut the spacer off, or cut the axle. You don't want to damage the wheel. The axle is probably less than $50, the wheel is much more.

Good Luck
Steve

How do I remove rear wheel on 07 suzuki dry 125

It sounds like the axle (bolt) is corroded/rusted inside the wheel. If this is in fact true you need to carefully drive it out with a proper (best a brass, to avoid axle etc damage) punch and as that will damage (brinell) the wheel bearings you would then have to change them also. Many manufacturers advise to apply anti-seize to the axle when it is installed but on many which I have disassembled with seized axles they were so lubricated and it appears that if you use bearing grease instead there is not axle corrosion and seizing.

We are trying to remove the wheels and tines from the craftsman roto tiller in order to replace a broken drive chain. We are having a very difficult time getting the wheels and tines off. Any suggestions?

there should be a cotter pin or pin holding a large washer once you have removed these then you have to get the wheel to slide off the axle it has a keyway on it.i have taken a hammer and hit one side of the tire on the backside then turn the tire half way round and hit the tire from the backside and walk the wheel off the axle.if the axle is rusty shoot wd-40 around the axle and wheel .the wheel should slide back on as you line up the keyway when putting them back on.if your going after the chain the tines will have to come off too and the chain box split

How to remove front tire on 2003 harley flhtcui

To remove the front tire, you'll need something to lift the bike with like a frame jack. Position the jack under the bike and lift it slighty but not completely off the ground. Make sure the bike is stable and will not fall.

Lift the bike until the weight is off the front wheel but the wheel is not off of the ground. Loosen and remove the axle nut and loosen the two bolts on the bottom of the fork slider on one side. Slide the axle out of the wheel.

Now, carefully continue to lift the bike until you can get the wheel out from under the front fender. Make sure that you mark or can remember where any spacers go and in what direction they face on the axle.

Help channging the front wheel on a kawasaki ninga zx6r 2004 model ? please .

By "changing the front wheel" do you mean how do you remove the wheel from the bike? If so, Start by securing the motorcycle in a upright position and place a jack under the engine with a wood protector between the jack and engine. Raise the motorcycle until the front tire is just touching the ground. Remove both brake calipers then loosen and remove the axle nut. Now remove the axle clamp and slide the axle out of the wheel. Note how the speedometer gear is mounted before pulling the axle. Now raise the motorcycle until the tire assembly will clear the fender. Reassembly is exact reverse of removal with the exception of when you install the axle you will tighten the axle nut before you tighten the axle clamp.
