If u have a hydraulic clutch check the fluid.If it is low or discolored i would replace the fluid. over time dot brake fluid will draw moisture, causing the fluid to loose its ability to create proper pressure.thus not pushing the clutch plates apart.DO NOT DRAIN OUT THE FLUID THEN TRY AND REPLACE IT....add fluid ,pump it out the bleeder until it comes out clean and clear. they have very small lines and air bubbles are very hard to remove in these small line.
It seems you have a clutch issue Inspect
Clutch plates, clutch Pressure cover, Clutch cable.
It may just be a case of clutch cable slightly too loose
You should have about 3MM play on clutch handle
so un-tighten till you can move clutch about 3mm without effort then it should be set about right.
