Turn signals dont work 2000 sportster

Not a lot of information. Have you checked to see if you have a fuse blown? Do all the rest of the lights work? Do the turn signals light up but just won't blink? Provide as much information as you can. Thanks Steve

SOURCE: None of the lights work, headlight and turn signals. Dash lights

The circuit breakers on your bike are under the seat- if you have an ohm-meter handy, pull them out one at a time and check them for continuity. If they all check good (meaning reading as a short across the terminals) the problem is elsewhere, and will need to be traced out. If you find a bad breaker that will not reset on it's own, replace it and try your lights again. If they come on momentarily then go out again- or they don't turn on, and you find a tripped breaker again, the problem is almost for sure a hot wire touching the frame, and will turn into a weekend project. Please let me know if this helps!

Did you replace the stock turn signals with LEDs?

If so you probably need a "Load Equalizer"

Can you take off or bypass security on 2009 dyna lowrider

Turn on key. Dont touch anything else until security light goes out. Hold both turn signals at the same time. A screen of 00000 will appear. If you havent changed the code, they will be ones or sevens 11111 or 77777. The left signal changes the value, the right enters it.

Wiring problems on 2000 Harley 883 Sportster Motorcycle. Bike was dropped busting right rear turn signal assembly. I replaced that turn signal, but it does not work. Wiring seems totally wierd as what...

If you have two wires that go to the turn signal and they don't work one way. You could try them switched around.
This is for a turn signal that is NOT also a running light. (Yellow Lens to Rear)
Use a test light and turn on the turn signal test both wires with the test light clipped to the ground or chassis of the bike. The wire that causes the light to blink will be the positive or hot side. That wire should attach to the bottom of the bulb.
The other wire is the Ground or common and that should attach to the side of the bulb holder.

Runnin lights dont work but blinkers do

The only running lights will be the front. Make sure there are 3 wires going to the front turn signals. If not then you have a set of rears on the front. The wire color for the running light side is blue. That can be ( or should be ) attached to an Orange/ white wire ( that is a typical key on hot for Harley ) I would also double check the ground on them as well, since the turn signal can actually pick up a ground by back feeding through itself, but would still not let the running light to work
