I remember seeing this post! I think I may have answered it but not sure. It may be a glitch, we do get posts vanish. The reason I remember is because I have been helping a guy called Ed Z with his E350 motorhome. Tag yourself on his post and introduce yourself. He is very capable at fixing his engine.

1988 ford e350 motorhome gas engine, replaced fuel pump and relay still no fuel going to motor the pump in the tank does not come on but the fuel gauge does work.

Then the pump is bad or there is no power to the pump.

The pump is mounted on the engine , trace the fuel line back from the carby and it will connect to the fuel pump.

How do you hook up the 2 6 volt batteries from the coach and. The 12volt nattery. With a solar panel for the batteries for a 2000damon intruder?

1998 ford taurus runs for a hour to a hour and a half then shuts off for no reason when it shuts down it acts like there is no fuel getting to engine but when i let it sit for awhile it starts back up

Have you not checked fuel pressure
or done one of about four or five fuel
pump tests

Talking about it, won't resolve the issue

I have a 1996 ford E-350 motorhome 460 engine, I can be driving down the hwy and fuel pressures drops off losing power. fuel pressure drops from 55psi to 15 psi. I can turn the key off for 15 seconds start...

Sounds like an electrical problem(power to the fuel pump) change the fuel pump relay And make sure the roll over switch is not tripped, It is located behind the passenger side kick panel . The red button must be pressed in to reset.

Where is the fuel pump located on a 1987 ford 350 motorhome jambaree

On a 300cc / 4.9L has two fuel pumps both elec. one in gas tank and one on fram rail. On a 351 / 5.8L has one elec. fuel pump on fram rail and one mechanical type on drive side front of engine block.On 460/7.5L could have elec. fuel pump one on fram rail one in gas tank or mechanical type.Hope this was helpful. Plug the computer on to the port located under the dash on the drivers side to get a code reading. It sounds like a 02 sensor about to go bad. If you get a 700 area code, its a transmission sensor code.

Fuel pump does not work- 1999 ford super duty class a motorhome

Check your vehicles safeties. Your ECM is probably programed for engine shutdown if it senses low oil pressure or low coolant level. Do a preliminary check.

I have a 96 which had issues with the original ford pump at 28,000 miles. It would shut down after about 200 miles of continuous running in the high elevations. Col, and Wyom. Solution was to replace ford gear fuel pump with an after market turbin pump. According to the tech from the western states that this is common with high alt. and high temp running. ( have not had a problem new pump)
