When i put in gear ...nothing in any gear also it rolls in any gear

Question edited for clarity and spelling.

Look online and get some basic knowledge how the engine, clutch and gearbox interact with the chain to the back wheel to provide drive.

The first very obvious thing, has the drive chain fell off!

Make sure the gear lever has clearance from the crankcase. I have seen a slightly bent lever cause what you are seeing. Get someone to rock the bike forward and back about 2" and push the gear lever down with your hand, NOT using the clutch. You should feel the selectors drop in. If they don't you will need to remove the crankcase cover and see if the selectors are bent or broken. Also check the clutch for correct operation.

Remove spark plugs, put transmission in high gear, and roll bike forward.

This will let you know if the engine is seized or not.

When you try to push start it, what gear are you using?

Don't use 1st gear.

Use 2nd, or even 3rd gear.

Will the car roll if it is not in park ?
Did you check to see if the shift cable is still connected to the transmission ?

You have a failed transmission, have it removed and replaced or rebuilt.

a car wont roll when in gear

have you tried to roll the pickup and put it in first gear because you have to roll the pickup to a certain speed like 10 mph or so and then put it into first gear should start the pickup. If this does not work that you have serious engine problems with that old pickup and might be inside the tramsmission problem. So let me know if this works out

Then your gear is giving out. You need to put your emergency brake on to when you put in park. Get your gear checked out. Hope this helps!?

Why are you putting it into drive while you are rolling backwards? That is a big NO NO. If you are at a stop and put it into drive and accelerate, and nothing happens, then your trani needs to be rebuilt.

I assume it's a manual transmission.
If the car will not roll backward or forward in neutral (with or without the clutch engaged) the transmission is most likely locked in two gears at the same time.
This may happen if gear selectors are excessively worn. If you are able to examine the gear selection levers external to the gearbox, ensure they are in the 'neutral' (no gear selected) position when the gear lever is in Neutral. If not in correct position, you may be able to manually reset the levers to correct neutral position and thereby unlock the gearbox.
In any case, if it's happened once, it will happen again, so get the gearbox and gear selection mechanism checked for wear or breakage.

loosen up the linkage at the transmission a little,click the linkage i click on the transmission(shift it manually to reverse),put the gear selector in the car in reverse,then tighten the linkage.see if that helps.
