I just noticed on my 1991 softtail springer classic that when i cut either blinker on when i staighten up the blinker still blinks? i thought when u striaghtened up it was supposed to quit blinking!

Your bike does have a reed switch built into the speedo but to change it I think you have to buy a new speedo. Not sure about that. I have a complete turn signal troubleshooting guide that I can send you but you'll have to contact me directly.
