You CAN use any oil you wish, But I would suggest you use the grade that Triumph specify. In other word a 10W-40 or 10W-30 depending on the temperature that is normal where you are.

drain plug is located underneath the engine in the belly pan near to the oil filter , tip use a new copper washer to avoid a leak as the old one will drip oil garanteed
