I have problems starting my eton 70 cc four stroke. it turns over but wont start is there atrick to starting these

need more info buddy, do lights still come on? will it turn over? if so does it make coughs like its trying to start or just steady dead cranking? did you shut it off last time it ran or did it just die? any strange happenings shortly before it died?( noises, lack of power, lights dimming out, odd smell) ?

is this a two stroke or four? I cannot help if you don't give me more information

Check valve clearance. The four stroke engines need regular checks on the valve clearance's

check for damaged sparkplug and piston and rings

check coil
