What is the correct tyre presure for front and rear, for a 2001 vmax?

32-34 PSI front and rear.

Look on the sidewall of the tire. The inflation information is there.

rear 35-40 psi , front 25-30 . im a hard rider and im16st plus passenger on a VMAX but simular tyres !

tyre pressure ok ? my vmax hates metzler me33 tyres and soft tyres ! it shakes a mental one at 105mph if your on your own , but 2 up fine ! lol

wot exactly does the bike do when this happens ? front or rear tyre ? are the front and rear suspension set correctly ? stand on the bike in the middle and bounce up and down on the foot pegs and they should move together ! how much sag do you have on the front forks , use a marker pen and when sat on the bike get someone to mark the slider then pull up on bars when feet on floor and mark again ! lots of bikes are set too soft , does the forks have spring pressure adjusters on the tops of the fork legs ? if yes turn them in , if not get aftermarket progressive fork springs that reduce the sag ! this can solve lots of problems on make the bike alot betteras ive done this on my yam Vmax 1200 !

Hi, a 1999-2003 suzuki burgman /an 400 using standard tyre sizes 110/90-13 front is 1'75 bar (25psi)
130/70-13 rear is. 2 bar-(29psi) and 2.8 bar (41psi when carrying a passenger) check the tyre for correct seating on the rim, dont think you have done any harm, the only danger inflating small tyres to a high pressure is you risk blowing it off the rim, as you have now corrected it you should be ok with that, paul

hi, the presures recomended for a yamaha xjr 1200, 1995-1998running tyre sizes

front 130/70/17 presure is 2.5 bar =36psi with or without a pilion
rear 170/60/17 presure is 2.5 bar =36psi solo and 2.9bar 42psi with a pilion

30 psi front, 40 psi rear for maximum load. You'll have to adjust the suspension according to how much weight is on the bike. Tighten suspension until the rear tire does not rub under the fender when you negotiate bumps.

You mean "tire" presure ?

The tire should state on the side in small print the correct "lbs" or "presure"..
