I have an old Yamaha motorcycle that has been stored for many years. I do not know what model it is. I can find the serial number AS 1-305385. Can you tell me the model and year? I am trying to see if worth fixing up. Thank you.

Older models have the build date and model on the steering head even a 73 will have the build date and the VIN and the country it's built in. not knowing what era your bikes in all *** bikes have the CC of the engine on the front of the block under the fins near the base of the cyclinder 249 cc, 348cc 174 cc 123cc, 99cc, 49cc If you tell me what cyclinders it has does it have an extenal oil tank does it have numbers anywhere like YM1 YDS3 . An AS1 would be a 100cc twin 2 stroke with an extenal oil tank and upsweeped pipes.

What year is my Yamaha motorcycle with serial number Y33-25392 please?

1965 is the year. It is a Yamaha Twinjet 100. Serial number look up for L1-00887--47755, or you can ask Yamaha for confirmation.

I have a Yamaha that I cant find out what model it is. I think its the xs 650 but im not for sure. All I know is that it was made 7/78 and the Serial number is 2Lo - 105468. It has twin cams, elc. starter...

It is a 1979 Yamaha XS400F. Although it was built in 78 it is a 79 model year with that serial number. 392cc plus the serial number both ties up with it being an XS400.
