Try running sea foam through ur system take the gas hose off the tank make a funnel system to that hose fill it with straight sea foam crank the bike untill it sucks at least 1 cup full let it sit for 24 hrs then try to start the bike with gas by adding through the funnel still no luck check spark plug for spark if no spark check sensors a wire could have croded and not making good connection also check your fuse box changing fuel pump could have blowen a fuse
Without disassembly, you could try some crankcase additive and fuel system treatment. One product in the same container can do both. Go to the auto parts store and purshase a bottle of Sea Foam Fuel System Cleaner. It is for automotive use and your Honda qualifies. Add a proportionate amount to the gas tank (an ounce or so) and add a small amount to the engine oil. An ounce or so would be plenty. Run the engine just at idle awhile and give the chemicals a chance to work. It will clean up the carburetor and most likely the valves. You may want to drain a couple ounces of oil from the engine to make room for the Sea Foam. Overfilling the crankcase is bad for the engine. If this doesn't resolve the problem, disassembly and internal parts cleaning would be required; but it probably won't
You will need to do an oil change after adding the Sea Foam to the engine and running it as it will become dirty.
If the bike ran fine prior to putting it in storage and all you did was drain the fuel and disconnect the battery, its likely moisture ( condensation) developed in the carbs while it sat. this type of thing happens when fuel is drained. Your best bet is to remove the carbs and clean the jets. Its my opinion and experience to put fresh fuel in a bike along with (stable) fuel treatment prior to storing them. With the stable added to the fuel, the fuel will hold good for about 1 year.. Replacing the battery and starting them and letting them warm up to operating temp monthly while in storage is always a good idea..
I hope this helps..
Is the check engine light on? I'm sure changing the oil had nothing to do with how the vehicle is running now unless they didn't replace the oil drain plug or added enough oil.
Sounds like you have a lifter that is sticking. Purchase a can of Seafoam Motor Treatment at Advance Auto Parts, Walmart, and many other suppliers. I have used this product many times and it is fantastic. This is not a motor treatment such as some of the others you see advertised to improve mileage or stop oil burning. This is a legit product that many mechanics trust. To clean lifters, add 1½ oz. Sea Foam to each quart of oil. Sea Foam will slowly re-liquefy the old oil varnish residue that builds up on lifters and prevents them from functioning normally. This process can be done as part of a pre service cleaning by adding the Sea Foam to the oil at least 30 miles before the next oil change interval. OR it can be done as a preventative maintenance process without changing the oil. You can leave Sea Foam in the oil indefinitely as long as the oil is clean. The addition of a high-detergent oil like Sea Foam may cause the oil to become dirty faster than normal as buildup oil residue and contamination are cleaned. Check the oil at regular intervals and when it gets dirty, change it.http://www.seafoamsales.com/how-to-use-sea-foam-motor-treatment.html
